Netflix’s next interactive show is Headspace's Mindfulness Experience
On June 15th, Netflix’s ever-increasing catalog of interactive shows will include experiences from the meditation app Headspace. If you are already using the platform, you will know exactly what will happen. Once you decide whether you want to meditate, relax or fall asleep, the soothing voice of Headspace co-founder Andy Puddicombe will guide you through breathing exercises that will change according to how you feel during the day. It's not like choosing your own adventure like Bandersnatch, it's more like something you can return often-although you don't seem to get the same breadth of exercises available to Headspace subscribers.
Unwind Your Mind is the last of three series ordered by Netflix from Headspace in 2021. The first "Headspace Mediation Guide" came out at the beginning of the year. In the series, Puddicombe emphasized the different benefits of meditation in eight 20-minute episodes. Intermediary experience seems to be a common choice for interactive programming, but this is the variety that Netflix promised when it said it would double its investment after Bandersnatch’s success.
